scriptc

Experimental compiler turning TypeScript into native binaries and WebAssembly

What it is

scriptc is an experimental compiler that uses TypeScript's type information to produce machine code, so programs run as standalone executables or WASI modules without Node.js. Imported npm packages are compiled into the binary, and a subset of Node.js APIs such as node:http is supported. Developers can run a coverage command to see how much of an existing program compiles, with build-time diagnostics and rewrite hints for unsupported code.
