Embabel Agent Framework
JVM framework for building goal-driven AI agents with typed domain models
What it is
Embabel is a Kotlin framework, usable from Java, for writing agent flows that combine LLM prompts with ordinary code and strongly typed domain objects. Developers define actions, goals, and conditions through Spring-style annotations or a Kotlin DSL, and a planner (Goal Oriented Action Planning by default, or Utility AI) works out the sequence of steps at runtime and replans after each action. Java and Spring teams use it to add agents to enterprise applications, mix several LLMs including local ones, and unit test agent behavior.
