ai-memory
Shared long-term memory and handoffs across AI coding agents
What it is
A Rust server and CLI that records what coding agents do through lifecycle hooks and MCP, consolidates it into a git-backed wiki of plain markdown pages, and feeds a short brief to the next session. When you quit one agent such as Claude Code and start another such as Codex or Cursor, the new one receives a handoff covering where work stopped, what failed, and what is open. Developers who switch between agents, machines, or teammates run it on a laptop or a shared server, with full-text search, memory decay, and multi-user auth working without any LLM calls.
