agentmemory

Local memory server that lets coding agents recall past sessions

What it is

agentmemory runs a local memory service that records what AI coding agents observe and do, then serves that history back through MCP tools, hooks, and a REST API. It works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Copilot CLI and other MCP clients, using BM25 search, optional local embeddings, and a knowledge graph without an external database. Developers who use coding agents daily install it so the agent keeps project context across sessions instead of being re-briefed each time. A browser viewer shows stored memories in real time.
