What it is

Octop is a single Python process providing a web dashboard, a CLI, desktop clients, and chat bridges for Telegram, Discord, WeChat, Feishu, DingTalk and others. Each user gets switchable expert agents with persistent memory, a RAG knowledge base, MCP and OAuth connectors, browser automation, a web terminal, remote desktop, and natural-language cron jobs. Households and small teams install it to share one assistant while keeping conversations, files, and credentials on their own machine.
