Hermes Agent is a general-purpose AI agent from Nous Research that runs in a terminal interface or through a gateway to Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, and Signal. It keeps its own memory, writes and refines reusable skills after complex tasks, searches past sessions, runs scheduled jobs from natural-language instructions, and can spawn subagents for parallel work. People who want a persistent assistant on a cheap VPS, a GPU box, or serverless sandboxes can point it at any model provider, including OpenRouter, OpenAI, or a local endpoint.
