What it is

A C/C++ library of algorithms that reorder, deduplicate, quantize and compress triangle mesh data so GPUs render it faster and it takes less storage. It also covers mesh simplification and level-of-detail generation, and ships gltfpack, a command-line tool that optimizes glTF files automatically. Graphics and game engine developers add it to asset pipelines to cut vertex processing, overdraw and file size, with bindings available for Rust and JavaScript.
