Codex-X

What it is

A cross-platform desktop app that puts the configuration of the OpenAI Codex desktop app and Codex CLI behind a visual interface. It switches between named official logins and third-party API providers, injects or replaces instruction prompts from a categorized template library, syncs and cleans up local sessions by project, and enables or disables Skills and MCP servers. Codex users who juggle several providers and prompt sets use it to avoid hand-editing config.toml and auth.json, and to view local token usage by date and model.
