What it is

Wave Terminal is a cross-platform terminal emulator that arranges shells, an editor, web views, and AI chat as draggable blocks in one window. Its AI assistant can read terminal output and edit files, working with your own OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini API keys, or with local models run through Ollama and LM Studio. Developers who work on remote machines get SSH sessions that reconnect after network drops, inline previews of remote files, and a wsh command for moving files between hosts.
