What it is

Warp is a terminal application written in Rust that has grown into a development environment built around AI agents. It ships its own coding agent and can also host third-party command-line agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or Gemini CLI, alongside regular shell sessions in bash or zsh. Developers on macOS, Linux, and Windows use it as their everyday terminal while handing coding tasks to agents in the same window.
