What it is

TeslaMate connects to the Tesla API and records drives, charging sessions, battery health and sleep states into Postgres, with bundled Grafana dashboards for efficiency, mileage, vampire drain and a lifetime driving map. It lets the car sleep normally, tracks charge costs, supports geofenced locations and multiple vehicles, and publishes live data over MQTT. Tesla owners run it on a home server or Raspberry Pi to keep a private history of their car and feed it into Home Assistant or Node-RED.
