Tambo
React toolkit for agents that render your own components as replies
What it is
Tambo lets a React app register its components with Zod schemas so an LLM agent can choose one and stream its props in response to a user's request, such as rendering a chart or updating a task board. It ships a React SDK with hooks and providers plus a backend that runs the conversation loop, stores threads, and connects to MCP servers, with any OpenAI-compatible model key. Front-end developers adding AI-driven interfaces to their products can run the backend themselves with Docker, since the hosted cloud is shutting down.
