Res Downloader
Desktop tool that captures media from Chinese apps through a local proxy
What it is
A cross-platform desktop app built with Go and Wails that runs a local HTTPS proxy, installs a certificate, and lists the video, audio, image, m3u8 and live-stream resources passing through it. It works with WeChat Channels, mini programs, Douyin, Kuaishou, Xiaohongshu, Kugou and QQ Music, and can decrypt downloaded WeChat Channels videos. People who want to save clips from these platforms without learning tools like Fiddler or Charles use it to pick files from a filtered list.
