YTPro
Android YouTube client with ad blocking, downloads and background play
What it is
YT PRO is an Android app that wraps the YouTube mobile site in a webview and injects JavaScript to add extra features. It blocks ads, skips sponsor segments via SponsorBlock, shows dislike counts, plays audio in the background, and supports picture-in-picture and gesture controls. It can also download videos, Shorts, thumbnails and captions, and summarize videos with Google Gemini using custom prompts. People on older Android phones who want a small, ad-free way to watch and save YouTube videos can install it as a lightweight APK.
