What it is

Atlas is a desktop app for running several coding agents, such as Claude Code, Codex, and agents from the ACP registry, against one codebase. It keeps a local record of each agent session and links every commit to the prompts, tool usage, and reasoning steps behind it, so the history can be searched or questioned later. A shared memory index, built from notes, CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, and past sessions, carries context between agents. Developers who switch between coding agents use it to keep a traceable record of why code changed.
