GeoLibre
Browser, desktop, and mobile GIS for mapping and analyzing spatial data
What it is
GeoLibre is a GIS application for loading, styling, and analyzing geospatial data, available as a web app, native desktop and mobile apps, and Python and R packages for notebooks. It bundles over a thousand WebAssembly geoprocessing tools covering elevation, watersheds, LiDAR point clouds, satellite imagery, and vector data, all running locally without a server, and uses DuckDB for spatial queries. Analysts, researchers, and students can switch a project between MapLibre, Mapbox, CesiumJS, and ArcGIS renderers, animate data over time, view 3D tiles, and map other planets.
