What it is
Music Assistant's server combines your local files and streaming service accounts into one music library and plays it on connected speakers such as Sonos, Chromecast, AirPlay and DLNA devices. It runs on an always-on machine like a Raspberry Pi, NAS or small PC, either as a Home Assistant app or a Docker container. People who build home automations use it to control music across rooms alongside Home Assistant.
