What it is

Maestro is a framework for UI and full end-to-end tests, where each test is a flat YAML list of steps (launchApp, tapOn, assertVisible and others) executed through the platform's accessibility layer. It ships as one CLI binary that runs flows in browsers, on Android emulators and iOS simulators, and on real Android hardware, waiting automatically for the UI to settle so tests are less flaky. The CLI also includes an MCP server so coding agents can inspect, tap, and assert on a live device and write repeatable tests. Mobile and web developers and QA engineers use it to cover React Native, Flutter, native, and hybrid apps with one syntax in CI.
