What it is
Open Notebook lets you collect PDFs, web pages, videos, and audio into notebooks, then search them with full-text and vector search and ask questions answered with citations. It can turn your material into podcast episodes with up to four speakers and works with many AI providers, including local models through Ollama. Researchers and students who want a NotebookLM-style workflow without handing their documents to Google run it with Docker on their own machine or server, and can automate it through a REST API.
