What it is
Open SWE is a coding agent, built on LangChain's Deep Agents and LangGraph, that explores a repository, edits code inside an isolated Linux sandbox, checks the result, and submits the work as a pull request. Beyond writing code, the agent reviews PRs, picks up each repository's review preferences over time, monitors CI for flaky failures, and handles scheduled tasks. Engineering teams trigger it from a dashboard, GitHub issues and PR comments, Slack, or Linear, and can deploy it on their own infrastructure with their choice of models and sandbox providers.
