What it is

uBlock Origin is a content blocker for Firefox and Chromium-based browsers that filters ads, trackers, coin miners, popups, anti-blocker scripts, and known malware sites using EasyList, EasyPrivacy, and other filter lists. It supports hosts files, custom filters in an extended EasyList syntax, and an advanced mode with a per-site point-and-click firewall. Everyday users can install it and leave the defaults, while people who want finer control over what their browser loads can tune rules site by site.
