What it is

This repository holds the Go language: its compiler, runtime, standard library, and the go command for building, testing, and managing modules. Go compiles to single static binaries for many operating systems and architectures, and offers goroutines and channels for concurrent programs. Developers use it to write network services, command-line tools, and cloud infrastructure software.
