What it is

Harbor is a registry server for container images and Helm charts that adds access control, vulnerability scanning, image signing, and audit logs on top of a basic image store. It replicates images between registries by policy, signs users in through LDAP, Active Directory, or OIDC, and runs garbage collection to reclaim storage. Platform and DevOps teams run it on their own infrastructure, via Docker Compose or Kubernetes, to keep images close to where they build and deploy.
