What it is

Gas Town is a Go command-line workspace manager that coordinates multiple AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Copilot and Gemini across projects. It stores task state in git worktrees and a Beads issue ledger so work survives agent restarts, and adds mailboxes, handoffs, watchdog supervisors, a merge queue and rate-limited dispatch. Developers running a dozen or more agents in parallel use it to keep their work tracked and merged without hand-holding each session.
