What it is

Dolt is a relational database that records each change to its tables much as Git records changes to files, letting you branch, diff, merge, clone, push and pull data. It runs as a MySQL-compatible server, exposing version control through SQL system tables and procedures, and also ships a command-line interface that mirrors Git commands. Data teams, application developers, and people building agent memory use it to review changes row by row, audit who edited what, and share datasets through remotes.
