What it is

A Rust daemon that runs Cloudflare Workers bundles straight from an existing wrangler.json, and also supports Durable Objects, static assets, Cron Triggers, Workflows, Queues, KV, R2, and D1. Each object lives in a named cell backed by its own SQLite database, which is copied between nodes and kept long-term in a bucket on Azure Blob, Google Cloud Storage, or any S3-compatible store, without requiring a consensus service. Teams that built on the Workers platform can deploy the same projects to their own machines or Kubernetes clusters, and develop locally with a single dev command.
