Vaultwarden

Lightweight self-hosted server compatible with Bitwarden clients

View on GitHub

What it is

A reimplementation of the Bitwarden client API in Rust that runs as a small server, so the official Bitwarden browser, desktop, and mobile apps can sync against your own machine. It covers personal vaults, Send, attachments, organizations with collections and groups, two-factor login including WebAuthn and YubiKey, emergency access, and an admin page. Home-lab users and small teams run it from a container image to keep their passwords on hardware they control without the heavier official server stack.
