Cypress

End-to-end and component test runner for browser-based apps

  • Developer tools

What it is

A JavaScript testing framework that drives a real browser to run end-to-end and component tests against web applications. It installs from npm, opens an interactive runner showing each command as it executes, and can run headless in CI. Front-end developers write tests for React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, and other UI code with it, with an optional paid cloud service for recording runs.
