What it is

A personal search engine that indexes the full contents of web pages you visit, plus local directories, imported bookmarks, and browser history. A Firefox or Chrome extension sends pages to a server you host, and you can search from a web UI, a terminal interface, CLI commands, or an AI assistant connected over MCP. Queries can use field filters, exact phrases, wildcards, and negation, and semantic search is available if you point it at an embeddings service of your choice. People who want to find things they have already read, without handing their history to a third party, run it locally or on a shared server with separate user accounts.
