What it is

Superset is a browser-based BI application that connects to most SQL databases and engines, such as Trino, Redshift, Druid, and Spark SQL, through SQLAlchemy. It offers a no-code chart builder, a SQL editor called SQL Lab, a light semantic layer for metrics and dimensions, caching, role-based access, and a REST API. Data teams and analysts run it on their own servers to explore data and share dashboards across an organization.
