aisuite

What it is

aisuite is a Python library that wraps OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, Ollama, AWS, Cohere and other providers behind a single OpenAI-style chat completions interface, so switching models means changing one string. On top of that it adds an Agents API with automatic tool calling from plain Python functions, prebuilt file, git and shell toolkits, MCP server support, approval policies and resumable run state. Developers building LLM apps or agents use it to compare models or avoid tying code to one vendor's SDK.
