Open Headunit
Shows Android Auto from your phone on a spare Android tablet or phone

What it is
An Android app that acts as a car head unit, displaying Android Auto projected from a phone over USB or wirelessly. It supports Wi-Fi Direct, a hotspot mode, the Android Auto developer headunit server, a companion wireless helper app, and USB dongles, plus intent-based automation. Drivers and car tinkerers use it to put Android Auto on an old tablet or an aftermarket Android head unit without buying a dedicated receiver. It continues Michael Reid's original headunit project.
