Claude Desktop for Linux

What it is

This project takes Anthropic's official Linux .deb of Claude Desktop and repackages it as RPM, AppImage, and a Nix flake, with signed APT and DNF repositories for updates. Each build adds a launcher that handles Wayland, GPU crash recovery, XRDP, and input-method quirks, plus a --doctor command that checks display, sandbox, MCP config, and KVM readiness for Cowork. Linux users on Fedora, NixOS, or less common desktops use it to run the Claude app where the official package does not reach.
