Open protocol and renderers for agent-generated user interfaces
What it is
A2UI defines a declarative JSON format that lets AI agents describe interactive interfaces such as forms, cards, and dashboards, which client apps then draw with their own native components. Because agents can only request components from a trusted catalog the client maintains, no generated code is executed. The project ships renderers for web frameworks like Lit, Angular, and React plus Flutter, and works over transports such as A2A and AG-UI. Developers building agent-powered apps use it to show rich, incrementally updated UI inside chats and multi-agent workflows.
