What it is

A Python framework from the Qwen team for building LLM applications that call functions, use MCP servers, run code, and answer questions over documents with RAG. It provides base classes for models, tools, and agents, plus example apps such as a browser assistant, a code interpreter, and a Gradio chat interface. Developers can point it at Alibaba Cloud's DashScope or at their own OpenAI-compatible endpoint served through vLLM or Ollama, and use it to wire Qwen models into agents of their own.
