FastMCP

What it is

FastMCP is a Python framework for the Model Context Protocol that turns ordinary functions into MCP tools, resources, and prompts, generating schemas and validation from type hints. It also includes a client that connects to local or remote MCP servers and handles transports and authentication, plus support for interactive UIs rendered inside a chat. Developers use it to expose their own code and data to LLM agents without writing protocol plumbing by hand.
