CUPP

Generate targeted password wordlists from a person's details

  • Security testing and OSINT
View on GitHub

What it is

CUPP builds custom password dictionaries by asking about a target's personal information such as names, birthdays, pet names, and common words, then combining them into guessable candidates. Penetration testers and forensic investigators use it to test password strength during authorized assessments. It can also profile existing dictionaries and download prebuilt wordlists.
