What it is

A single-binary streaming server that pulls video from IP cameras and other sources over RTSP, RTMP, ONVIF, HomeKit and vendor protocols, then serves it as WebRTC, HLS, MJPEG, MP4 or RTSP. It transcodes through FFmpeg only when a client needs it, supports two-way audio to cameras, and can push streams to services like YouTube. Home Assistant users and smart home builders run it to get near-instant camera views in browsers and dashboards, either standalone, in Docker, or as an add-on with an HTTP API.
