What it is

ManimGL is the animation library Grant Sanderson built to produce 3Blue1Brown videos. You write scenes in Python describing shapes, equations, graphs, and transformations, then preview them in an OpenGL window or render them to video with FFmpeg, with optional LaTeX for typeset formulas. Educators and math communicators use it to turn explanations into exact, reproducible animations. A separate community-maintained fork exists for those who want a more stable, beginner-friendly version.
