jcode

Terminal coding agent harness built to run many agents at once

What it is

jcode is a Rust coding agent for the terminal that keeps memory use and startup time low so dozens of sessions can run in parallel. Agents working in the same repository are coordinated by a local server that alerts them when files they read change and lets them message each other or spawn worker agents. It includes a structure-aware grep tool to save context, supports Claude and OpenAI sign-in among other providers, and can edit and rebuild its own source. Developers who lean on multi-agent workflows use it to fan out work without bogging down their machine.
